Student Dependent Visa

The Student Dependent Visa allows the family members (spouse, de facto partner, or children) of international students studying in Australia to join them during their studies. This visa permits the dependent family members to stay in Australia for the same duration as the student visa holder.

The visa allows dependents to live, work, and study in Australia while their family member is completing their studies.

The Student Dependent Visa can be applied for by the following family members of the international student:

A spouse or de facto partner of the international student may apply for this visa to live, work, and study in Australia while their partner is enrolled in a full-time course.
