Our Bachelor of Information Technology is co-designed with industry professionals to prepare you for a successful career in the ICT sector. The program covers areas such as programming, software engineering, networks and databases, human-centred design, smart technologies, and cloud architecture. You’ll develop both technical and creative skills, leveraging 4.0-era technology to design innovative IT solutions.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to tackle complex, technical problems and propose creative solutions. You’ll cover foundational topics in programming, software engineering, network and database systems, and human-centred design. The curriculum also explores smart industry technologies, enterprise computing, and cloud architectures. With a selection of electives such as software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, web development, UX, game programming, and cybersecurity, you can tailor the course to suit your specific interests. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through work placements, allowing you to apply your knowledge and better prepare for entering the workforce.

Academic Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent:
You must have completed secondary education with satisfactory grades, typically including subjects like mathematics, science, and English.
English Language Proficiency:
Most Australian universities require international students to demonstrate English proficiency, often through tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE Academic.
You are a citizen and hold a passport from the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or the Republic of Ireland.
You are enrolled in a principal course of study that is a registered school course, a standalone English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS), a course taught in a language other than English, or a registered post-graduate research course.
You have completed at least 5 years of study in English in one or more of the following countries: Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland.
