Sunshine Coast

Choosing the right trade course on the Sunshine Coast can open doors to in-demand careers with strong permanent visa prospects. Located just an hour north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, offering an exciting and progressive environment for students to live, study, and build their future.

The region is known for its welcoming community, stunning beaches, and scenic hinterland, providing students with a safe and vibrant place to call home. With plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, water sports, and exploring mountains and rainforests, the Sunshine Coast’s sunny climate is perfect for year-round enjoyment. Students can swim, sail, surf, jet ski, snorkel, paddleboard, or water ski in its crystal-clear waters.

As a designated regional area, the Sunshine Coast offers students the chance to earn an additional 5 points on the Australian Immigration Points Test. This may also provide eligibility to apply for a Skilled Work Regional Visa (subclass 491).
