Adelaide

Choosing the right trade course in Adelaide can set you on a path to an in-demand career with strong opportunities for permanent residency.

Often overlooked, Adelaide is a medium-sized city with a charming “small town” atmosphere, making it an ideal place to start your journey in Australia and potentially settle down. In 2017, Adelaide was ranked as the fourth most desirable study destination in Australia for international students.

With a metro population of approximately 1.3 million, Adelaide is known for its cultural diversity, with around 30 percent of its population born overseas. You’ll experience a strong sense of community here. The city also boasts a major international airport, providing easy access to both domestic and international flights.

As a regional area, Adelaide offers students the chance to earn an extra 5 points on the Australian Immigration Points Test and potentially apply for a Skilled Work Regional Visa (subclass 491).
